The Avery Aquatic Center (AAC) is located between the Sunken Diamond and Arrillaga Family Sports Center. The recreational entrance is located on the southwest side, facing Arrillaga Plaza. AAC serves as the home for the men and women’s swimming and diving teams, the men’s and women’s water polo teams, and the artistic swimming team. The complex includes four separate pools; the Avery Stadium Pool, the Maas Diving Center, the Belardi Pool, and the Baker Recreation Pool. AAC serves as Stanford Aquatics’ competition facility. Our mission is to provide a safe environment and the best aquatic experience possible for our guests and staff. Under management supervision, ensure the safety of patrons of the facility by controlling access through the departmental and university ID system. Serve as Q&A for patrons and greet people as they enter and exit the facility. Perform facility cleaning and maintenance. Perform other duties as assigned. I am offering summer housing through the end of August in Stanford housing, less than a 5min walk from stanford hospital for FREE, all inclusive of gas/electric/bills, Netflix/hulu/Disney+/prime, wifi, laundry, and groceries (just write want you want on the fridge), and housekeeping in exchange for part-time childcare. Job would be helping my daughter get ready in the morning and walking her <5mins to drop her off at daycare and picking her up in the afternoons and giving her dinner and putting her to bed around 8pm. You would usually be a second pair of hands for me. I would also be willing to offer an additional stipend if you want to help me out on the weekends and need some cash because you wanted to socialize and have therefore allowed yourself to be brutally robbed by Palo Alto’s local fare. You would also be my roommate, and while I’m a shockingly awful cook and have acquired the unfortunate habit of succumbing to the depths of late 90’s rap music complete with bad dancing in hard times, and singing ‘00’s country music to the evocation of ear-bleeding in good times, I believe you’ll find that I am not otherwise altogether intolerable to live with.
